I need more details. The cupcakes are chocolate? Are they frosted? What kind of frosting? What flavor is the cream? Where did you have them?

It is a pumpkin cupcake with a cream cheese filling  it doesn't have a frosting. A friend of mine was telling me about them she had one at someone’s house.

There is no way for me to find a specific recipe without having a specific name for the recipe and/or knowing something unique about the recipe that would a llow me to identify it from among all the other similar recipes.

Hi! Years ago I made a gingerbread house made out of sugar wafer cookies. The cookies that are long wafer type cookie with filling inside. 
I just can not remember what magazine it was in but in was back in the 1980's.

No way for me to find your particular recipe without at least knowing the name of the magazine. Since it’s not made of gingerbread, let’s call this a “sugar wafer house”, ok?
