Subject: pork livers
I have some pork livers and would like to make liver paste and liver sausage with them.
Can you provide me withsome recipes? Please!
Thanks
Hello Glen,
Not as simple a request as it might seem.
There are dozens of recipes for these things, and they have dozens of different names,
such as the liver “mush“ recipe below. Also, few of them call for pork liver alone.
Most liver sausage recipes call for pork AND pork liver. Some call for added pork fat.
Some call for a mixture of pork and beef. All of the “liver paste” recipes that I found
were made with liver sausage as an ingredient. Practically ever European country has
its own particular liver sausage recipes.
I think the best thing that I can do is to give you links to a variety of recipes for
items made with pork liver. If none of these is suitable, perhaps after looking at them
you can write back and be more specific about the type of recipe you want.

Subject: Wilkie's crumb kuchen-Cleveland Ohio
Looking for either the recipe of crumb kuchen from Wilkie's Backery, or a bakery that has a similar product.
Hello Michael,
All I could find was a few nostalgic mentions of Wilkie’s Bakery and a request for their crumb cake recipe
that had received no responses here: Cleveland Seniors
I did find a recipe for crumb cake that is said to taste like that from another Cleveland Bakery – Hough’s Bakery.
See: Recipe Link
That’s going to be the best that I can do at this time. I’ll post this for reader input.

Hello Heidi,
Sorry, no luck with a recipe, copycat, or "tastes-like" for Wagner's
cinnamon swirl bread. I'll post this for reader input.
