There are some tea cake recipes below. Vanilla extract is an alcohol extract of vanilla beans. To make it, you have to have vanilla beans.
Use 1 split vanilla bean per 3/4 cup of vodka or pure grain alcohol. Let soak for 4 to 6 months.

Hello Sandy,
There are lots of different Tom and Jerry recipes, but the one below is the
only one that I could find using corn syrup.
Phaed
Tom and Jerry
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
4 eggs -- Separated
1 cup Sugar
8 tablespoons White corn syrup
4 tablespoons Water
Whiskey or Brandy
Nutmeg
Separate 4 eggs. Beat the heck out of the yolks and whites.
You can't whip them too dry.
Cook: 1 cup sugar, 8 tbsp. white corn syrup, 4 tbsp. water.
Boil till an 8 inch thread hangs from the spoon. Slowly beat
into the egg whites. Add one fourth cup powdered sugar and
2 jiggers white rum. Add egg yolks and beat some more.
Now mix and fold together. Serve in heated coffee mugs.
Put in 1-2 ounces whiskey or brandy into cup. Fill one half
batter and run hot water down the side of the cup until full.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.

I'm looking for a receipe for Deep butter coffee cake,
I can find ones for gooey butter, but the deep butter
is quite a challenge. If you could help I would really
appreciate it.
Thanks so much,
Linda
Hello Linda,
The below recipe is the only "deep butter" coffee cake recipe that I can find.
Phaed
Deep Butter Coffee Cake
Ingredients :
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine (or butter)
1 egg
Preparation :
Mix together as you would pie dough with a fork. After
thoroughly mixed, pat down in 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Push the
dough up somewhat at the sides so that topping does not flow down
into bottom of pan. Mix together 1 (8 ounce) package of
Philadelphia cream cheese, 2 eggs and 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar and
pour over top of above mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40
minutes. Top with powdered sugar and nuts if desired.
