Hello,
My name is Amanda . I have been looking for a recipe for Johnny Carinos spaghetti
with meat sauce for a long time and have had no luck. It is my favorite dish to order.
I was wondering if you had ever came across the recipe or a copy cat version. I know
for a fact that there is fennel in it.
Thanks so much,
Amanda
Hi Amanda,
Sorry, no luck with this. Carino's has a meat sauce recipe with fennel on their site:

Subject: Sesame chicken
Hi, I am looking for a sesame chicken recipe that was served at the Dobbs House
Luau on Popular in Memphis. There was also an airport location. This great chicken
came all crunchy and had a delicious sauce that was served on the side. Can you Help?
Chenue, CA.
Hello Chenue,
Sorry, I had no success with this request.

Back in the early 60s I was a reporter with the Memphis Press-Scimitar and lived near
the Dobbs House Luau. Great place to take a date. Moats, little bridges, low lights.
Food was a Trader Vic's knockoff as much of the staff had been recruited from there.
Drinks were the big deal. I remember the Sesame Chicken as being a fried chicken rolled
in Hoisin sauce and then dusted with sesame seeds. I don't remember the sauce on the side,
but that was a long time ago. They also had a sweet and sour sauce that came with some
foods and was served on the side.

Hello,
i am from Costa Rica and I was recently in the United States and ate at
Charlies Grilled Subs and had the Spicy Asian BBQ Sub, I would really
like to eat it again but i´m not shure when i´ll be able to go back, so
i would like to have the recipe so that i can make it when ever i´m craving
for it. I specially need the sauce, the rest i can manage.
thank you very much
Ana
Hi Ana,
Sorry, no luck. Seems that no one has been able to create a recipe for making this at home.
Charlie's describes it like this:
... a Korean-inspired menu item, the sandwich features steak cooked in a rich marinade
complete with pears, green onions and Eastern spices—filling it with flavor as it hits the grill.
Charley’s Spicy Asian BBQ is topped with provolone cheese and served on a warm sub.

I am looking for a salad dressing that is served at Kitty's Italian Restaurant i
n North Reading, Mass. I believe the ingredients consist of mayo and vinegar
but don't know the rest. It is one of the best house dressings ever.
Thanks you
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
Sorry, no luck with this. I found this listing of ingredients on a message board, but no amounts:
Mayonnaise
Apple cider vinegar
Peanut oil
Accent flavor enhancer
Salt
White pepper

Subject: great gazpacho
Hi,
Recently has the chilled gazpacho at The Olde Pink House in Savannah, Georgia.
Would love the recipe! They are located on 23 Abercorn Street, in Reynolds Square.
Hope you can help.
Sincerely,
Susan
Hi Susan,
Sorry, no success with this one.

Update 2013: There is a cookbook available on Amazon called Recipes from the Olde Pink House, 1771 . It might be in there. Kinda pricey, though.
