There was a fine old Italian restaurant in Flushing, NY called the Villa 
Bianca. They served the most amazing stuffed mushroom appetizer. It was so 
special that only one mushroom was in an order. The place closed at least 30 
yrs ago. If you can find any info, that would be great.

Dosanko was a wonderful Japanese noodle shop with several locations in NYC. 
The place was reasonably priced and the food was delicious. They specialized 
in tempuras, katsu, and noodle soup. They made a butter larmen that was 
simplicity in itself and so good. I'd greatly appreciate it. If butter 
larmen isn't available, I'd love any recipe from that place.

Dosanko Larmen is an international chain of noodle shops, with locations in many countries. I don't know why they closed their New York locations, but it appears that they have opened at least one location in Los Angeles. Buttery flavor ramen is a common dish in noodle shops, of which there are many in NYC. I could not find any recipes from Dosanko Larmen. The only recipe that I found which mentioned Dosanko Larmen was this one, which is one person's attempt to make a copycat of Dosanko Larmen's curry ramen: Rockin' Ramen

I'll post this for reader input.
