Hello Laurel,
This cake is actually "Lemon Doberge Cake." From the menu at: Yelp
"Lemon Doberge Cake - Six Layers. Lemon Buttercream Icing. Lemon Glaze."
"Lemon Doberge Cake" is a New Orleans specialty. I was not able to locate a
recipe that was actually from Del Frisco's, but there are some Lemon Doberge
Cake recipes on the web.
Some of these were posted by folks who had the cake at Del Frisco's and
recommended these as being very similar:

Subject: Sterns BBQ Culver City
Hello, I have been trying to locate the recipe for Sterns potatoe salad.
Sterns was in Culver City, Ca. I read your postings about Sterns BBQ sauce
recipe search and see that you did make contact with Margie Stern regarding
the sauce. Would it be possible for you to contact her about the potatoe
salad recipe? Or tell me how to contact her?
I have searched off and on for several years. Miss that place so much.
Thank you,
Susan
Hi Susan,
Margie sent me an email about five years ago regarding the barbecue sauce,
which they were trying to duplicate in a bottled sauce to sell. I did have
her email address at the time, but I lost all of my previous emails in a
major hard drive crash last year, so I no longer have it.
I could not find anything at all regarding the potato salad.
I'll post this on my site. Margie found my site and contacted me once, so
she might do it again.
