Interested in the chili from Tony’s hot dog In Norfolk Virginia on Newton road some of
the best hot dogs ever hands down!!! If you haven’t tried worth the trip!
Hello Amber,
According to the information that I can find, the Newton Road location was in Virginia Beach
rather than in Norfolk. The Norfolk location was on Lafayette Blvd. See: Our Story
You can get the same hot dogs at (Tony's son) Joey's Hot Dogs on Cox Road in Glen Allen. See: Joey's Hot Dogs
The chili recipe has been kept within the Mirable family. There is no way to get it except
from them, and they don't give it out. As far as I could determine, no one has been able to
make a copycat recipe for the chili.
I'll post this for reader input.

The second one was a recipe sheet that Southern Union Gas Company of Austin Texas past out
to customers each month. I am not sure of all the ingredients, but it was a layered casserole.
It had Rice, slice sauté onions ., slice tomatoes . could have been other thing
I can't remember. This was covered with a sauce made of a mixture of Campbell cheese soup
(not sure if they make that anymore.) Mixed with cream of Mushroom soup and baked.

Hello Barbara,
I cannot find any recipes that mention Southern Union Gas Company. However, I found a cookbook
published by them for sale here: AbeBooks
I found a couple of tuna casserole recipes that called for both cheddar cheese soup and cream
of mushroom soup. See these sites:

Hello Joyce,
I'm sorry, but I do not have MCL Cafeteria's poppy seed dressing recipe. I have not
been able to find any recipes at all from MCL Cafeterias.
I will post this for reader input.
