Do you have a recipe for Irish Soda Bread that was on the original
website of Mariano's Grocery Stores in the Chicagoland area? This
would be prior to 2018, or when they were purchased by The Kroger
Company. The current recipe is not the same as the original.
Thank you,
Nancy
Hello Nancy,
What was the link that you used to go to the recipe that was on the original website?
What is the link that you are using to go to the current recipe, which you say is not the same?
Are you talking about a recipe for Irish soda bread that Mariano's on their site? Or are you talking about the Irish soda bread that they sold in their bakery?

Thank you for getting back to me. I am referring to the Irish Soda
Bread recipe that they had on their website prior to 2018. I had
bookmarked it in 2017 but now it only links to their general website,
not to any particular recipe. And when they do have an Irish Soda
Bread recipe on the site, it is not the original that Mariano's had
posted. I do know the original called for currants and I believe it
had buttermilk in it.

Hi Nancy,
OK. I might be able to find it if you will send me the link that you have that used to go to the old recipe before 2018.
Just copy and paste the link and send it to me. I know that now it goes to their general website, but I know a trick that
might work.

I have made both and both are delicious.
Thank you Phaedrus for your time and energy
Hi Nancy,
Well, my idea for locating your recipes did not work. Those recipes appear to have been removed from the Internet completely.
I will post your request on my site. Perhaps one of my readers saved those recipes when they were available and will send them.
