Subject: Really, really want this!!!!
Since I can remember my aunt would take me to the Piccadilly at the
Fort Henry Mall in Kingsport, Tn. One of my favorite dish to order was
their Almond Chicken. It had kind of a green look to it & it was served
with crunch noodles. I loved it. I moved away for awhile then moved
back. It was one thing I had missed. I tried to go several times but it
wasn't on the menu or sold out before I got there. Then they retired it
all together after months of me trying to get it. I was devastated!
They didn't even have the recipe any more. I have searched for it over
the years without any luck. I have had some people tell me it was made
with Rice A Roni but didn't know the recipe. Please help!!!!
I would be forever grateful.
Marquita
Hello Marquita,
I failed to find any mention of this at all. I'll post it on the site in
case a reader can help.

Subject: Puritan coney island
Hello Phaed
I hope you can find this recipe, back in the 70's and 80's there was
a place in Lafayette Indiana on main st called Puritan coney island
and they sold the best coney dogs ever. I believe the owners were
Greek but they wouldn’t give out recipe for there coney sauce. It was
different from other sauces because I don’t think there was any
hamburger in it.
thank you, zachary
Hello Zachary,
I’ve been looking for this one since 2010. I searched again today, but still no success.

Subject: Dugan's Bakery (New Jersey- New York)
I see you have a couple other recipes from Dugan's,
but this is a real challenge as far as I can tell.
(Meaning I have had no luck at all.)
Back in the Fifties when I was a kid they made these
little fruit tarts (blueberry and cherry if I recall correctly)
and the crust had an almond flavor. Despite the fact I
had relatives who worked there- which is why I got to
eat so many- no one has been able to help with the
recipe. Hope people appreciate what a public service
you are doing!
Regard's,
Fred
Hi Fred,
Wish I could say I found the tart recipe, but I had no success. I drew a blank again today. The only Dugan’s recipes that I’ve ever been able to find are the four on this site that were printed in the New York Times:
