Subject: chipottle cilantro sauce recipe request
Hi there and happy new year. I am searching for the dipping sauce recipe for pizza hut's
cilantro chipottle dipping sauce they have for dipping their crust. Do you by chance know
of one that might be similar? Thanks.
regards, Liz
Hi Liz,
Good to hear from you.
I can’t find any mention at all of Pizza Hut cilantro chipotle dipping sauce. I personally
wouldn’t know which, if any, sauce might taste similar because I’ve never tasted it.
There is a chipotle sauce with cilantro recipe here: How to Make Chipotle Sauce

Subject: re: French Vanilla rice pudding
Dear Sir,
Would you possibly have the recipe for a French Vanilla Rice Pudding,
similar to one made by Kozy Shack?
In any event let me thank you so much for asking.
Respectfully
John
Hello John,
Well, to be sure, only someone who has tasted Kozy Shack French Vanilla Rice Pudding and then
has also tasted another French Vanilla Rice Pudding and thought, “Hey this tastes like the
Kozy Shack stuff!” could realistically make such a recommendation. I have not had such an
experience, so I can’t make such a recommendation. I will post this in case one of my readers
can honestly make such a recommendation.
Meantime, I found this recipe, which you can try, leaving out the fruit: Recipe Binder
Uncle Ben’s makes a French Vanilla Rice Pudding MIX, which you can find at your grocery or buy online.
Amazon has it: Uncle Ben's at Amazon
From the Kozy Shack website at Kozy Shack , Kozy Shack French Vanilla Rice Pudding’s label ingredients are:
“Reduced fat milk, sugar, rice. Contains less than 2% of eggs, natural flavors, salt, annatto extract (color), ground vanilla beans.”
I had no success finding a copycat recipe for Kozy Shack French Vanilla Rice Pudding,
but I did find a copycat for their “original” rice pudding at: Copycat.com
See below for the recipe.
If you add some sort of French Vanilla flavoring to that recipe instead of, or in addition to, the “1/2 teaspoon vanilla” called for
in the recipe, then you might come close to the Kozy Shack French Vanilla Rice Pudding.
Amazon.com has several kinds of such flavoring. See: Amazon
I can't make a recommendation of which flavoring to use – you will have to experiment.
However, the ingredient list for the Kozy Shack product says it contains “ground vanilla beans.”
You can buy ground vanilla bean powder at Amazon as well: Vanilla Bean Powder
I note that the first recipe that I linked to above uses commonly available French Vanilla Coffee Creamer. You might try that first.
As I said, you will have to experiment. I found no hint of, and I have no idea of, what sort of “natural flavors” Kozy Shack uses
in their manufacturing process. It might be a commercial product or combination of products that are only sold commercially or are
blended by Kozy Shack. Kozy Shack employees would be the only ones with that information.
Your request will be posted for reader input in approximately 60 days from now. If none of the above ideas works for you,
you should check back regularly to see whether anyone has responded to your request.

Kozy Shack (Original) Rice Pudding Copycat:
Ingredients
1 cup Cooked Long Grain Rice ( water polished rice if available )
3/4 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Whole Milk
3 Egg Yolks (beaten)
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
Directions
Place sugar, flour, salt, and milk in sauce pan. Stir on medium low heat until mixture begins to boil.
Let boil while stirring constantly for 2 - 3 minutes. Remove from heat and place 1/2 cup of hot mixture
into egg yolk and mix well. Pour egg yolk and rice into hot pudding mixture and place back on stove,
continue to cook for 2 - 3 minutes. Stir constantly so pudding does not form lumps and stick to the
bottom of pan. Remove from heat, add vanilla and blend well. Chill before serving.
Add your favorite garnish. Fruit, whipped topping or a little cinnamon or freshly grated nutmeg is nice.
