Subject: Recipe request Swiss House Fondue Fort Worth Texas
The Old Swiss House Restaurant in Fort Worth Texas which closed over
ten years ago had a special appetizer item the "swiss house fondue"
it was fried or baked cheese and breading mixed together and served
as cubes. The chef owner Walter Kaufmann would never reveal or sell
the recipe when asked. I would like to find a similar recipe.
Thank you,
Barry
Hello Barry,
I found many mentions of The Old Swiss House Restaurant in Fort Worth,
but no recipes and no mention of the Swiss House Fondue. Chef Kaufmann
has a facebook page. You might try writing to him. See:

Subject: Lost Turkey Store Recipe
Back in the 90's, there was a recipe off the package of a turkey breast
from The Turkey Store. I think they've since been bought out by Jennie-O Turkey,
and I can't find the recipe on their website either.
It used a turkey breast that was baked in the oven and based with a tomato sauce
and butter mixture. It was a delicious buttery tomato gravy that was also great
on mashed potatoes.
Can you help me?I lost the recipe in the divorce :(
Marianne
Hi Marianne,
There are a couple of Turkey Store label recipes on the web, but not that one. I had no success locating the recipe that you describe. The Turkey Store had a cookbook that they sold. Your recipe might be in that. You can pick up a used copy in several places on the web. Here's one:
