Woolworth's Tuna Salad
Makes 30 oz
Tuna fish Two 7 oz cans (drained = 13 oz)
Celery, cleaned 8 oz
Salad Dressing* 8 oz
Lemon Juice 1 oz
Remove tuna fish from cans. Drain off juices. Wash and dry celery. Chop celery
into uniform pieces of a little less than 1/4 inch square. Mix all with salad
dressing and lemon juice.
*Try Miracle Whip, or if you're like me and dislike the sweetness of salad dressing,
omit the lemon juice and use a mayonnaise that already contains lemon juice, such as
Kraft Real Mayonnaise or Hellman's.
These catch me up with past requests for Woolworth's recipes, so I won't be posting
any more until I get a request for one. I have access to most of the Woolworth's
recipe manual (except for the baking section), so if you want a Woolworth's recipe,
write me.
