Regarding school lunchroom recipes: If you went to a school in the Los Angeles Public School System or another big city school system like Boston, New York, Chicago, etc, then there is a possibility that some of their lunchroom recipes have made it onto the Internet. However, if you attended Tremont Elementary School in Tremont, Mississippi, then it's very unlikely that any of their lunchroom recipes are available. I might be able to find you a school lunchroom sloppy joe recipe, but it might not be the one from Tremont Elementary School. I'll try, but it will be pure chance.

Facebook is the place to connect with people who attended or worked at the same schools that you attended. Use the Search on your Facebook page to find Facebook pages dedicated to nostalgia about your school or about the town you grew up in. Some of these are marked "private", but it's not difficult to become a member. Do so, and post your recipe request there.
Also, there are Facebook groups specifically targeting former school cafeteria employees and lunchroom recipes, like these:
