Sorry, I cannot find any mention of a chocolate chip cheesecake recipe published in Ladies' Home Journal.

I will post this for reader input, but if that is unsuccessful, you might try asking your local librarian. There is an archive of digital copies of women's magazines, including the LHJ, that is accessible through the library system. These magazines are not freely available on the Internet, but they are available through many, if not all, public libraries.
