Hello Linda,

With the information that you give, the closest recipe that I can find is the one below:

Phaed

https://www.hungrybrowser.com/

Easy Day Pot Roast

1 apple, cored and thinly sliced
1 boneless beef roast or sirloin, approximately 3 lb.
1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed, drained and squeezed
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1 env. gravy mix

Place all but the gravy in a Dutch oven or roaster. Bake 3 hours at 350 degrees
or until tender. Take roast out. Stir in gravy mix in the liquid in the pan until
thick (you may add more water if mixture is too thick.) Heat through.
NOTE: You may also add potatoes, peas, or carrots near end of baking time.
This recipe can also be used in a crock pot. Cook 9-10 hours.
