Hi Robin,
Well, I had zero success with this. As you can imagine, companies like Knorr don't make all of their ingredients public. They list a bare minimum on the package, but not all of the ingredients and no proportions.
This nutrition site has only the ingredients listed that are listed on the package, not those that are termed "herbs & spices": Nutritionix
Organic Barley, Sugar, Salt, Yeast Extract, Spices, Maltodextrin (Corn), Parsley (Dried), Olive Oil, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Tomato Powder, Natural Flavors (Wheat), Paprika Extract and Turmeric Extract (Color), Lemon Juice (Dried).
I think the only way you could ever get this information would be from a Knorr employee.
I had no success finding a copycat recipe for the Knorr- based "meal in one skillet". I could not find any recipe claiming to "taste like" the Knorr dish.
I searched for, but could not find, any dish at all called "Moroccan chicken with barley" or "Moroccan style chicken with barley", thinking the Knorr product might be based on an actual Moroccan dish.
I will post this for reader input.
