Peach Upside Down Cake 1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow deluxe cake mix 1/2 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 can (or more) peach halves, drained Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar in pan and stir until it caramelizes. Place peaches on caramel mixture. Mix cake as directed and pour over peaches. Bake at 350 degrees 45 to 50 minutes until cake tests done with toothpick. Let stand 5 minutes to set, then turn upside down on a large dish. ------------------------------------- Peach Upside Down Cake 1 box yellow cake mix 1 lg can of peach slices 1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring Follow cake mix directions, but use peach juice for liquid. Add flavoring to batter. Butter the inside of a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Lay peach slices in the bottom and pour batter over slices. Bake per cake mix directions. ------------------------------------ Peach Upside Down Cake 1/4 c. butter 1/3 c. packed brown sugar 1 can sliced peaches, large can 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding 4 eggs 1 c. sour cream 1/4 c. oil 1/2 tsp. almond extract Melt butter, mix with brown sugar. Spread in pan. Line bottom of pan with peaches. In a bowl mix all other ingredients. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees (time according to cake box) in 9 x 13 pan.
