Hi, my name is Lowell. I got the recipe off a package of Best Yet granulated
sugar. It was anytime between 2005 to 2007 at the time I first had it. Besides
the usual ingredients of bananas, flour, butter, sugar, and eggs there was
also buttermilk included instead of whole milk. That's all I can remember.
It was very good and it would be great if you could find it. Thank you.

Hello Lowell,

I could not find any banana bread recipe at all that mentioned the "Best Yet" brand by name. There are some banana bread recipes on the web that match your ingredient list, including the buttermilk. See below for one. I will post this for reader input. Perhaps one of my readers has the Best Yet recipe.

Phaed

Buttermilk Banana Bread

3 ripe bananas
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/8 tsp. salt
Cream butter and sugar in mixer. Add bananas and mix. Add eggs and
continue mixing. Add soda that has been dissolved in buttermilk.
Add flour and salt. Fold in nuts. Bake on one large or two small greased
floured loaf pans, 1 hour, 350 degree oven.
