If not, was "Chicken Rice Mushroom Casserole" the actual name of the dish, or is that a list of ingredients that you remember? Are you saying that it was either in "Taste of Home" magazine or in another magazine called "Quick Cooking Magazine"?(Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable about cooking magazines). More information about the recipe would be helpful.

I cannot find such a recipe that mentions "Quick Cooking" magazine.

All I can do is post this, which I have already done. Maybe one of my readers has that issue of "Quick Cooking."
