I searched for, but could not locate, a recipe for sloppy joes from Pasadena Unified School District, nor could I locate one that said it was from LAUSD. I do have several sloppy joe recipes from school cafeterias, but none form Pasadena or L.A. I have several LAUSD recipes, but none for sloppy joes from there.

If you can find a message board that is specifically aimed at former students of your school or the PUSD, then posting on that board might bring success. A thorough search might include searching the archives of local Pasadena newspapers, although that would likely require a subscription to one of the newspaper archive sites or a trip to the Pasadena library and searching the microfilmed archives of the local newspaper.

I will post this for reader input.
