Well, I don't have, and could not find, any George Street Grocery recipes at all. Nor could I find any from the "Old Tavern on George Street", which is what's at that location now. I lived in Jackson several years in the 1970s, but I never dined there.

was a watering hole that served food -- and had a parade of owners and cooks. 
The food changed with the owners and cooks, and that was often. So, there are 
no written recipes. It all depended on who was cooking that day.
