I am searching for the chocolate chip cookie recipe from the Lapeer East High School

without success. The cookies were thick and normal size. Chewy, almost cake like, but
not quite.

This was in Lapeer, Michigan.

The cafeteria ladies also made wonderful cinnamon rolls! Not too sweet. Just right.

I could buy 2 cookies & a chocolate milk for 20 cents! 🤣🤣
Same price for 1 cinnamon roll & a chocolate milk.

Thank you!

Hello Renee,

Sorry, I did not have any success in finding a recipe for either chocolate chip cookies or cinnamon rolls from Lapeer East High School in Lapeer, Michigan.

I did, however, find that Lapeer East High School has a Facebook page, and on that page is a photo of chocolate chip cookies.

See the photo at: Chocolate Chip Cookies

The Facebook page itself is "Lapeer East Eagles" at: Lapeer East Eagles

I think your best chance of finding those recipes would be to post a message and request on that page. Lapeer East Alumni certainly visit that page, and former cafeteria workers might visit it as well.

Also, I found information about Linda Sprinkle, who attended Lapeer East High School from 1985 - 1989. Linda Sprankle lives in Zanesville, OH now, where she is the owner of a home bakery called "Linda's Sweets" and she makes chocolate chip cookies. Perhaps she knows something about the chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls that the cafeteria offered in the 1970s.

She has a Facebook page at: Linda's Sweets

Her contact information is there and you can phone or email her.

I will post this for reader input.
