Hello Tami, I found several nostalgic mentions of the "Colonial House Restaurant" in Salem, OR, but not even a mention of their thousand island dressing, much less a recipe for it. There are a couple of Facebook pages dedicated to Salem, Oregon nostalgia, and the Colonial House Restaurant is mentioned on both of them. If anyone at all has the recipe and visits those sites, then they might respond if you post your request there: Memories of Salem, Oregon in the 70's/80's You Know You're From Salem, Oregon When.... Also, this person lists the Colonial House in Salem, Oregon as a place that he worked. He worked in the kitchen there, so he might know the dressing recipe.
