Bonnie, I scoured the web for any mention of Woolworth's date nut pie, but I found no mention of it,
not even on scans of Woolworth's USA menus. However, I did find a few mentions of Woolworth's date nut cake.
Not only that, but I have the recipe for Woolworth's date nut cake, actually scanned from a
copy of the Woolworth's Food Service recipe book from years ago. That recipe is here: 11-24-14
It is a food service recipe that makes 15 - 12 oz cakes or 11 - 16 oz cakes. It would have to be cut down
in order to make just one cake.
