Hello Helen,
When I was young, living on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Sunbeam bread and products were everywhere. However, they went bankrupt in 2011.
Today there are several small bakeries around that that use the name "Sunbeam", but they aren't the "Sunbeam Bakery" that we knew then. The recipe and product rights to the name "Sunbeam Bread" went to another company in the bankruptcy, but the pound cake recipe is not mentioned anywhere that I can find. Even if there was a recipe for it on the web, it would almost certainly be a copycat. The original recipe would have been a commercial bakery recipe that made multiple cakes at once using commercial ingredients and equipment, not grocery store ingredients.
I will post this on my site. Maybe someone who recalls the Sunbeam pound cake from years ago knows of and can recommend a recipe that "tastes-like" it.
Helen, there is a recipe here called "Gold Sunbeam Cake, but it is not called a "pound cake" and it does not give any connection to "Sunbeam Bakery": Gold Sunbeam Cake
I know nothing about it, but you might want to give it a try.
