Hi,
I’m looking for Freedman’s corn muffin recipe. They were so unique! Any ideas?

Hello Laura,
Gosh, Laura, I can't even begin to search for their corn muffin recipe until you tell me their full name (Restaurant? Cafe? Bakery? Deli? What?) and where they were located (City or cities? State? Country, if not the USA? I get requests from Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, American and British possessions, and from expatriates in various countries around the world). Even in the USA, there may be multiple restaurants, bakeries, etc. named "Freedman's" in different cities.

Hi Phaed,
Sorry I did not submit context as I found you when I was looking
for info on the former Freedman’s Bakery in Belmar, NJ. You had
a post on it a few years ago. They sold some of their recipes to
a company in Howell NJ but I am in search of the recipe for their
corn muffins which were very unique. In your post you noted that
the former owner (grandson) was selling restaurant machines now.
I saw him on LinkedIn but did not contact him. I may do so as so
many of the recipes from their former bakery were very popular.
Sorry for any confusion.
Thanks!

Hi Laura,
OH... THAT Freedman's. Sorry. I've been doing this for over 22 years now. That's a lot of restaurants, bakeries, and recipes. Too many for my memory to hold them all. I have searched three times for recipes of any sort from Freedman's Bakery in NJ:
5-14-2020
3-2-2021
3-2-2022
I have never had any success, and I had no success today. Sorry.
Mark Freedman's company was Apex Bakery Equipment, which has a website at: Apex Equipment
It appears that Mark lives in Florida now, possibly Coral Springs.

Yes thank you. Maybe I can convince him to write a cookbook!
Thanks again.
