Hello,
I would like to request the recipe for the lausd peanut butter bread,
please and thank you. It's my mom's favorite and I would like to make it for her.

Hello Evie,

This is a very popular recipe and as a result, there are multiple recipes to be found that claim to be the LAUSD Peanut Butter bread recipe. There is a video that has two recipes, but there is no provenance provided for either. Provenance would be an indication that a recipe came from a source that is, or was, actually connected to LAUSD Food Service.  I only found one recipe that gave any provenance at all, and that provenance was rather tenuous. Without Provenance, I can't say if any of these recipes is accurate; they must all be copycats or "tastes-like" recipes. #4 below is the one that I recommend you try first. #3 and #4 are basically the same recipe, but #4 has the best instructions.

The video recipe is here #1: YouTube

There is a recipe here #2 : DIYJOY

The recipe below is the only one that has any sort of provenance - the poster said it came from someone whose husband worked for LAUSD in some capacity and it is from the LAUSD Facebook page: L.A. Schools on Facebook
