Hi Nitza,

Sorry, I cannot find any mention at all of a chocolate mocha cake served at a Darryl's Restaurant in North Carolina. I found some menus for restaurants with the name "Darryl's", but none of them had a dessert called "chocolate mocha cake." There appears to have been a "Darryl's Restaurant" chain at one time, but it apparently closed years ago. These are the NC restaurants with that name that I found:

Darryl's Wood Fired Grill - Greensboro
Darryl's BBQ - Rockwell
Darryl's Seafood Restaurant - Manteo
Darryl's Restaurant - Raleigh

You didn't state a particular city.

There are several "chocolate mocha cake" recipes on the web, but I have no way to determine if any of them might be similar to the one you ask about.

I'll post this for reader input.
