Sorry, I had no success at all finding anything like a recipe from Cafe Roma in Detroit.
The salad that they were famous for is described like this:
"Roma Cafe Tossed Salad -- Mixed greens, peppers, hard boiled egg, garbanzo beans,
and plump tomatoes with their house dressing."
