Red Wing began production of Sauce Arturo in 1912. The sauce changed hands a couple of times and ended up with Conagra. Conagra discontinued the sauce in 2014 and sold the rights to Walton & Post of Miami, Florida in 2015. Happily, Walton and Post still make it. However, it does not have wide distribution, so it may be quite difficult to find in stores, depending on your location. Amazon has it, and you can order it from them: Sauce Arturo at Amazon

Homemade Sauce Arturo Gourmet Sauce Ingredients 1 cup/227 grams) 1/4 cup finely chopped mushrooms 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup tomato paste 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper 2 Tablespoons soy sauce 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 large garlic clove, finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 pinch paprika 1 pinch nutmeg 1 pinch onion powder Preparation Mix all the ingredients and simmer until bubbling.
