I am looking for a recipe from Chef Jocks Tastebuds Cafe that was in
Sevier County, Tennessee.  It is for his signature shrimp scampi
recipe.  He published a cookbook many years ago that I was told had
that recipe but have been unable to find it.  Hope you can help me
out.  Tammy

Hi Tammy,

I found a photo of the "Tastebuds Cafe" menu , but there is no "shrimp scampi" listed. There is a "Shrimp and Pasta" dish listed.

See the menu: Chef Jock's Tastebuds Cafe Menu

"Chef Jock's" cookbook was "Chef Jock's Tastebuds Delight Cookbook." Used copies have been for sale in the past on Amazon and E-Bay, but I could not find a currently available copy for sale.

See:Chef Jock's Tastebuds Delight Cookbook on E-Bay.

There are two recipes from his cookbook posted here, but no "Shrimp Scampi or "Shrimp and Pasta."

See: Recipes From Chef Jock's Tastebuds Delight Cookbook.

I did not have any success locating his "Shrimp Scampi or "Shrimp and Pasta" recipe in any of my sources. Sorry.

Phaed

Yes, that was the dish I believe.  It was many years ago.  Fortunately,
right after emailing you, I found a copy of his cookbook on eBay and
ordered it.  I'm hopeful the recipe is in there.  I have been searching
for this cookbook for years.  Thank you so much for getting back to
me so quickly
