 Hello Louise,

I cannot find any recipe at all with the name "Hot Cheesy Peas." Where did you get the recipe originally? Was it actually named "Hot Cheesy Peas?" There are some recipes with the name of just "Cheesy Peas," but they don't match your description. One of them is below.

I searched by ingredients both with and without the brand names, but I had no success either way.

Are you certain that the ingredients that you list are the only ingredients in the recipe? Could you have omitted some, such as macaroni or milk or butter?

I can post this, but I have a lot of backed up requests, so it will be the middle of January before it appears.

Phaed

Cheesy Peas

Ingredients:

4-1/2 teaspoons butter
4-1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1-1/2 cups 2% milk
3/4 cup cubed process cheese (Velveeta)
2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen peas, thawed

Directions
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and
stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add the
cheese; stir until melted. Stir in peas; cook
1-2 minutes longer or until heated through.
