I found Bertha's menu via Google, and that dish appears to be listed as "Creamy Scallops or Shrimp" on the menu. It's described like this:
Creamed Scallops Or Shrimp
(combo available), lightly sauteed in garlic butter, in a cream sauce served with toast tips.
But there is no mention of sherry in that description.
Also on their menu is:
Shrimp Maurice Or Scallops
(combo available), broiled with honey, lemon, garlic, butter and sherry, on rice.
shrimp Maurice, broiled with honey, lemon, garlic, butter and sherry
This Shrimp Maurice dish has the shrimp & sherry, but it's served over rice and there's no cream sauce mentioned.
Be that as it may, I had no success finding any recipes at all for any shrimp dishes from Bertha's Restaurant. Sorry.
I will post this for reader input.
