Hello and thank you for reading my email!
In the 1950s and 60s there was a local show in Buffalo, NY called “Meet the Millers”.
It was on in the morning on Channel 4, WBEN (now WIVB). Bill and Mildred prepared
recipes, and did interviews with locals and celebrities that wandered through town.
My mom got a recipe for cocoa cupcakes from the show that made a large batch, so that
you could freeze some for later desserts. I remember them being so moist, and so good
that we kids raided the freezer, and they never lasted very long. They were less
cupcakey and more similar to pound cake, I think they used Droste cocoa.
I would love to taste these again!
Thank you!
Pat
Hi Pat,
Sorry, I can't find any mention of a "cocoa cupcakes" or "chocolate cupcakes" recipe from "Meet the Millers".
I'll post this. Maybe one of my readers has it.
