I came across your webpage while looking for information on a Van de Kamp's
product that's been long out of production.
We loved the Van de Kamp's lemon Danish squares, and haven't found anything
like it anywhere else. They came in a foil-lined box, covered in plastic.
The box was about 9" square, and held 9 small danishes, 3 across and 3 down.
They had lemon inside, and were topped with glaze. They were so good topped
with a little butter and heated up!
Although you can find lemon danishes in some bakeries, I haven't seen any
mass produced for the supermarkets.
Just wondering if you recall these, and if you might have a lead on either
getting a recipe or finding out if the original recipe was bought by someone
and if they are making them.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Cheryl,
Sorry, I had zero success finding anything at all about Van de Kamp's Lemon Danish Squares.
The information that I have regarding the current owner of Van de Kamp's recipes is that it is
InterAmerican Products/Columbus Bakery. See here: Van de Kamp's
However, I have not seen any indication that this company makes lemon Danish at all.
I will post this for reader input. Perhaps some can suggest a "tastes-like".
