Sorry, I cannot find any recipes from Bauer's Bakery in Manhattan (or was it in Yorkville?), nor can I
find any pastry called "pineapple boats", nor can I find a pastry that fits your description. I'll post
this for reader input, but it will be about three weeks before it appears due to a backlog of requests.
