I've looked through your recipes but couldn't quite find it.
remember these bars from school in Missouri and Texas. They were a
peanut butter bar with light chocolate ganache.
Your description is quite thin. The only recipes for school cafeteria peanut butter bars with chocolate icing that I can locate are these, with a topping of melted chocolate chips:

I'm not sure if either topping would qualify as a "light chocolate ganache."
What was the name & location of the largest school at which you had these? That might help.
I will post this for reader input.

I have searched every way that I can think of, but I cannot find any mention of a peanut butter bar connected with West Englewood Elementary or the North Kansas City School District or with Kansas City, Missouri. I also cannot find any school cafeteria peanut butter bars recipe with a chocolate ganache coating. Some have melted chocolate chips on top, a few have a frosting made with cocoa, but I did not find any that had chocolate ganache or a frosting made with chocolate and cream (ganache). Sorry.

Thank you so much! These all seem very similar! I'll make them all! Thanks again!
